We want your college student to be successful throughout their career at The University of Mississippi or Northwest Mississippi Community college. They need a good foundation and support to gain this success. At The Connection at Oxford, we want to help support their productivity by giving them a fully equipped computer lab and individual study rooms at their fingertips. We want to keep them healthy with an on-site 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center. We also want to help them relax by providing them with a resort style pool and Jacuzzi tub for lounging. The Connection at Oxford meets every need that your student will have while in college so they can achieve what they came here for in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Individual Leases
Individual leasing means peace of mind for you. Your financial responsibility is only for your student’s space unlike many apartments or rental houses where a joint lease is signed. If a roommate transfers to another school or moves out of The Connection at Oxford for any reason, you do not have to worry about having to cover their portion of rent. This is just another reason why The Connection at Oxford is your student’s best housing option!
On-site Professional Staff
Our maintenance staff will respond to your student’s maintenance issues quickly and professionally. The Connection at Oxford offers 24 hour emergency maintenance as well so that your student’s comfort is not affected.
Affordable Floor Plans
The Connection at Oxford has four spacious floor plan options so they will easily be able to find one to suit their needs. We have one bedrooms, two bedrooms, three bedrooms, and four bedrooms. They each have their own bedroom and bathroom. Your students rent includes all utilities (water, sewer, trash, and electricity),extended basic cable, high-speed Ethernet, furniture, access to The Connection amenities, and so much more!
Fully Furnished
The Connection at Oxford is a fully-furnished community, saving you money! Each student will have a full-sized bed, large desk and chair, dresser, full –size walk in closet, and private bathroom. The living area comes with a comfortable sectional, TV-stand, dining room table and chairs. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steal GE energy saving appliance, fridge with an ice maker, dishwasher, and full size washer and dryer.
Roommate Matching
If your student does not have a roommate in mind, we can find them one! Each roommate will fill out a Roommate Matching sheet so that we know what they are looking for in a roommate. During the summer, we spend weeks looking at these preferences and matching them up with the best person we can find!
Resident Events to Keep Students Involved
While the main focus of your student’s college career will be about graduating and getting a fulfilling job, they also need to have fun along the way. At The Connection at Oxford, your student will create life-long relationships and connections that will make them even more successful. Our great staff plans monthly resident events to get them involved. These events range from pizza parties to karaoke nights, from resume building classes to sand volleyball tournaments. Annually, The Connection at Oxford has a Welcome Back/School Bash Pool Party at the beginning of the fall semester, a Casino Night at the beginning of the spring semester, and a large volleyball tournament among the residents and staff, as well as, many holiday events throughout the year. We will also keep our residents connected to events going on at The University of Mississippi, as well as, events happening around town so they don’t miss anything!
